My Philodendron Birkin #23 has been growing steadily since I received it on December 29, 2023, and it's become a surprisingly satisfying daily ritual.

📦 What Is MetaFarm?
MetaFarm is a Korean blockchain-based plant care game and platform where players own, grow, and observe real plants through a virtual interface.
Each plant is linked to a physical one grown in MetaFarm’s lab—and mine is Birkin #23.
It’s not the trendy pink syngonium (#17); mine is different, but no less beautiful.
🌱 New Growth Every Day
From the first few days, I could barely see the leaf tips peeking out.
Then, one day—🌿 “It’s grown!”
This moment was small but incredibly exciting. Watching a leaf develop in real time, even through a screen, gave me a sense of achievement.
💧 How I Care for Birkin #23 (and What Actually Happens)
Through the MetaFarm app, I mist the plant daily. But as someone who grows houseplants at home, I know that misting can be risky indoors.
Spraying water indoors doesn’t always help—it can cause leaf rot, prevent root absorption, and ultimately stunt plant health.
That’s why I suspect the actual care is handled by the MetaFarm team, while the app offers an interactive user experience.
Still, the daily watering via app gives me a small sense of bonding with my Birkin.
🎁 The Limited Edition Pot I Missed...
As part of the launch campaign, the first 18 backers received a beautiful Imuya pot in creamy white.
Sadly, I wasn’t fast enough—but that’s okay. The growing experience itself has been so rewarding.
