지난번 국립세종식물원에 반려식물 페스타에 갔다가
가드닝샵에서 도우아트 화분만들기 키트를 구매!
드디어! 만들어보았습니다!
I went to the National Sejong Botanical Garden for the Pet Festival last time and bought a Doowart pot-making kit at the gardening shop!
Finally! I tried making it!
화분키트 구성품
화분만들기 2개 분이 들어있습니다.
The pot kit includes two pot-making sets.
발포세라믹 2개, 정제수 2개, 큰 종이컵 1개,
시음컵(형태만들기) 2개, 종이컵 2개, 꾸미기 끈 2개,
상토 1개, 마사토 1개,
식물은 없습니다. 별도로 준비해야 합니다.
The kit includes 2 foaming ceramics, 2 purified waters, 1 large paper cup, 2 tasting cups (for shaping), 2 paper cups, 2 decorating strings, 1 topsoil, and 1 massto.
Plants are not included and need to be prepared separately.
큰 종이컵에 발포세라믹 가루를 담습니다.
Fill the large paper cup with foaming ceramic powder.
발포세라믹가루에 정제수를 붓습니다.
Pour distilled water into the foaming ceramic powder.
쉐킷 쉐킷 ~~
Shake, shake~~
처음 만들어보는 것이라, 물량 조절에 실패했습니다.
너무 부족했어요. 더 넣었어야 했는데, 몰라서 바로 진행했습니다.
I failed to adjust the quantity properly as it was my first time making it.
It was too little.
I should have added more, but I didn't know, so I proceeded right away.
화분의 형태를 잡기 위해 가운데 구멍을 만들고
To shape the pot, make a hole in the center.
발포세라믹이 단단하게 굳을 때까지 기다립니다. 10분 정도 걸렸습니다.
Wait until the expanding ceramic hardens. It took about 10 minutes.
시음컵을 빼내고
Remove the tasting cup.
종이컵을 제거합니다.
Remove the paper cup.
완성... 이라고 하기에는 가루가 물에 제대로 녹지 않아서...
It's not quite complete as the powder didn't dissolve properly in the water.

이렇게 만든 화분을 어떻게 쓰나 생각했는데
자연스러운 돌시멘트 질감의 미니 화분 느낌으로
다육이를 심어두니까 나름 멋졌습니다.

I thought about how to use the pot I made, and when I planted succulents in it,
it turned into a mini pot with a natural cement texture, which looked quite nice.
