안녕하세요. 오늘은 개업화분으로 선물 받은 무늬뱅갈고무나무의 상태를 확인하고 분갈이 가능한지 문의 주셔서 확인한 내용을 가져왔습니다.
Hello. Today, I have checked the condition of the variegated Banyan Tree you received as a business opening gift and whether it can be repotted. Here's the information I have:
선물 받은 후, 최소 2년은 넘은 식물입니다. 실내에서 성장하다보니 여러가지 환경조건도 안좋았던거 같습니다
The plant has been with you for at least two years since it was gifted. It seems that growing indoors has subjected it to various unfavorable conditions.
오른쪽 고무나무는 하얀색 화분, 왼쪽 고무나무는 검정색 화분의 식물입니다. 두개 모두 뿌리가 좋지않지만, 그 중에 검정색 고무나무는 뿌리가 없네요.
The rubber plant on the right is in a white pot, while the one on the left is in a black pot. Both plants have poor root conditions, but the rubber plant in the black pot has no roots at all.
하얀색 화분에 있던, 오른쪽 고무나무만 분갈이 하기로 하였습니다.
We have decided to repot only the rubber plant on the right, which was in the white pot.
화분 2개 모두에서 스티로폼이 나왔고, 검정색 화분은 2/3이 이상이 스티로폼이었습니다. 심지어 검정색 화분은 배수구멍도 너무 작았고, 화분이 좁다보니, 과습이 오기 쉬원 형태였습니다.
Styrofoam emerged from both pots, with over 2/3 of the black pot filled with it. Additionally, the drainage holes in the black pot were too small, and due to the narrow shape of the pot, it was prone to over-humidification.
그래서 검정색 화분의 고무나무가 성장하기가 더 열악했던거 같습니다. 하얀색화분은 스티로폼을 제거하고, 건강한 흙으로 채워, 그나마 뿌리가 단단한 고무나무를 분갈이 하였습니다.
As a result, it seems that the rubber plant in the black pot had even poorer growth conditions. We removed the styrofoam from the white pot, filled it with healthy soil, and repotted the rubber plant with relatively solid roots.
개업화분의 분갈이 의뢰가 들어오면 거의 99%가 스티로폼이 들어있습니다. 대형화분은 거의 100% 스티로폼이 들어있다고 보시면됩니다.
When we receive requests for repotting business opening plants, almost 99% of them contain styrofoam. For large pots, you can consider that there is almost 100% styrofoam inside.
다양한 이유가 있겠지만, 식물계의 금손으로서 스티로폼이 있으신 채로 잘 키우시는 분들도 계시고, 환경이 열악하여 더 빠르게 식물을 떠나보낼 수도 있습니다.
There may be various reasons, but some skilled plant enthusiasts manage to grow plants well even with styrofoam present. On the other hand, poor environmental conditions can lead to plants deteriorating more quickly.
선물로 개업화분을 받으신다면, 햇빛과 물관리를 잘 하시다가 6개월 또는 1년 후에 분갈이 하시기를 추천드립니다.
If you receive a business opening plant as a gift, I recommend that you take good care of it regarding sunlight and watering, and consider repotting it after 6 months or a year.
