2024년 세종식물 식물원에 가드닝샵에서 조직배양묘 키트가 눈에 띄었습니다. 유리병안에 식물이 살아있다는게 신기했습니다.
In 2024, a tissue culture plant kit caught my eye at the gardening shop in the Sejong Plant Botanical Garden. It was fascinating to see a plant living inside a glass bottle.
집에 와서 키트 가이드에 따라 분갈이하고, 아이스커피컵에 안에 습도를 유지하면서 약 2달하고 반이 넘어가니, 알로카시아가 커져서 아이스커피컵 안이 좁아졌습니다.
At home, I followed the kit guide for repotting. By maintaining humidity inside an iced coffee cup, the Alocasia grew too large for the cup after about two and a half months.
물도 잘 안주고, LED로만 빛을 주었는데도, 알아서 잘 컸습니다. 굉장한 친구였습니다.
Despite not giving it much water and only providing light with an LED, it thrived on its own. It was quite an amazing plant.
그래서 아주 조금 더 큰 곳으로 분갈이하고, 플라스크도 더 큰 곳으로 옮겨주었습니다.
So, I repotted it into a slightly larger container and also moved the flask to a bigger one.
이제 더 잘 자라지 않을까 생각합니다.
I think it will grow even better now.
신기했던거, 알로카시아 아즈라니의 잎색은 오묘한 퍼플색이 숨은듯 보이는 신비로운색이고, 줄기가 투명해요.
Interestingly, the leaves of the Alocasia azlanii have a mysterious color, with a subtle purple hue hidden within, and the stems are transparent.
