Make Korean Gochujang and Jinmichae at Cheongju’s Sinnayu Farm
Looking for something special to do in Cheongju?
How about making traditional gochujang (Korean red chili paste) and sweet-spicy Jinmichae (seasoned dried squid)?
That’s exactly what we did at Sinnayu Farm, a hands-on experience that went beyond just one dish.
1. A Double Experience: Gochujang and Jinmichae
This event wasn’t just about gochujang.
We also made Jinmichae using the gochujang we prepared ourselves!
It was a rare combo experience—starting with Korean fermented sauce and ending with a popular side dish.
Plus, the staff gave each participant a cute photo card to remember the day.
2. Not Just a Group Tour
While it may have looked like a large group event, most participants joined individually or in pairs after seeing the public notice online.
It wasn’t a company outing or pre-formed group.
Most people didn’t know each other—but still shared laughter and joy through this food-making experience.
We hope everyone had a great time, even if they came solo!
